Bull’s Head Holiday Home is a Grade II listed property dating back to the 17th century and was formerly the Bull’s Head public house. After being used as a buy-to-let for many years, it has been thoughtfully restored, including a recent £100,000 renovation, to bring the building back to its original character while offering modern comfort.
The home includes on-site parking for up to four cars, a newly installed hot tub, and an outdoor seating area. Inside, you’ll find updated social spaces, including a large dining table and a pool table, ideal for relaxed group stays.
The Neighbourhood
The property is located in the centre of historic Chapelle-en-le-Frith, with mediaeval streets and alleys to explore nearby. A wide selection of pubs, restaurants, and local amenities are within easy walking distance.
Just outside the town, you’ll find excellent countryside walks and simple access to the Peak District National Park, making it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area.
The Space
Originally the Bull’s Head public house, this charming property blends historic character with modern features and comforts. It sleeps up to 12 guests across six bedrooms, with three bathrooms, including one en-suite.
The main dining space features one of Derbyshire’s largest historic stone fireplaces. The large table comfortably seats twelve guests and also converts into a ¾-size snooker table for added entertainment after meals.
The spacious living room includes another Grade II listed Derbyshire stone fireplace, along with additional period details throughout. The bedrooms also retain original character, including fireplaces and exposed 17th-century roof beams.
Outside, guests can enjoy the hot tub and seating area, along with convenient on-site parking.

Decibel meters are in place at the property.
