Getting Around
Whitehaven is easily accessible by train and the house is just 10minutes from the nearest station. We have secure parking in our 2 garages for cars and other free spaces are available in the area of the house itself. There are no parking restrictions on the roads around the property.
The Space
The rooms are incredibly spacious with luxurious ceiling heights giving a huge sense of space in every area. The large bedrooms are mostly king beds with 2 doubles a twin and a single room which gives plenty of sleeping options for a variety of different groups. Celebrations of every kind are welcome and we encourage you to have a good time and make the most of the space. Outside we have a hot tub in a secluded private garden with high walls for absolute privacy. We want to give you an incredible experience and the house is packed with features and interest to make the most of your time with us.
The Neighbourhood
Whitehaven has plenty to see and do. In the day time there are several museums and experiences to keep all ages entertained. A new £4m harbour development has just been completed so this is a great area to explore and the harbor itself is surrounded by some fantastic bars and restaurants where you can watch the sun go down. Exploring the outer harbor walls is a great experience in the day or when fully illuminated at night time. Whitehaven has a very vibrant nightlife so there are plenty of options for those night owls that want to explore. For those wanting to experience the beauty of the Lake District, many great local walks and attractions are just a short drive away. St. Bees is one the nations best sandy beaches and is just 10mins drive away. Classic lakeland valleys such as Buttermere, Ennerdale and Wasdale are easily accesible from the property as well.
